"Ciao Down is just on the main drag through Lindfield & offers pretty much the same as most cafes BUT the food quality & service is well above average! This is my first at the Ciao but won’t be the last. Plenty of ‘eat in’ room to sit down n relax. Coffee could be somewhat a little stronger but maybe that’s personal choice. You won’t be disappointed...promise!"

"Solid little cafe this one, well run, clean and good food at a very acceptable price for this area. I just had a bacon and egg roll and a coffee and it cost me about $13. It was a pretty bloody good bacon and egg roll too. The place was reasonably busy but service was fast and professional. Nice chilled vibe as well. All the other food I saw coming out looked fairly impressive. I’ll be coming back here soon I reckon."

"The breakfast we had today looked too good to be eaten but we ate it and my son said it was wonderful. Eggs bacon mushies tomato avocado and toast. Coffee was good. Nice vibes all 'round."

"Great little cafe, with a solid menu. The coffee is consistently good, now have been a few times. The barista technique is good as is the chefs food presentation. Cups and plates are clean, no water spots on the cutlery! Bussing can be slow, but the tables are clean. Menu is very good, i have sampled most plates and the chef provides fresh food. There is also a small selection of baked goods from a vendor. Good venue for couples and small groups, they have fresh newspapers on the weekend. Highly recommended to be your local cafe haunt, after the weekly shop or neighbour catchup!"

"Great selection of food. Really enjoyed the eggs Benedict with salmon and the creamy pasta dish. Was delicious. Reasonable pricing also!"
